I have seen Rose work both in a long-term care setting with a large group of individuals, and in a smaller setting with people who have Alzheimer's and Dementia. She is interactive with our Alzheimer’s Program and connects them to the moment. She talks with each individual during her sessions and encourages them to become involved in answering questions about music, playing small instruments like shakers, tambourines, and bells. The residents remain engaged during her hour-long session, whereas often keeping them on task with other activities can be difficult because of their attention span. The benefit of her program is beyond measure.
